Murray - SE 34-20-01 W5M - Redesignation (A to CR)

Foothills County has received an application from agent Kristi Beunder of Township Planning + Design Inc. on behalf of landowner Dwight Murray proposing the redesignation of the subject 37.84 acre Agricultural District parcel to Country Residential District (CR) to allow for the future subdivision of 5 new CR lots and +/-3.71 acres of Environmental Reserve Easement, leaving a +/- 13.88 acre CR balance. This application includes a Site Specific Amendment to allow for a Secondary Suite, Detached in advance of a principal residence & consideration of the total cumulative accessory building size on the balance parcel.

As shown on the location map, the subject parcel (shaded in black) is located in Council Division 5,located directly west of Highway 549 and north of 354 Avenue W. This is approximately 3.5 kilometres west of the Town of Okotoks.

Waddell - N 9-18-28 W4M - Proposed Road Closure for Purchase

Foothills County has received an application from Roscoe and Janessa Waddell requesting the permanent closure for purchase of an Undeveloped Road Allowance between N1/2 9-18-28 W4M and S1/2 16-18-28 W4M containing ~7.97 acres. Access will be denied.

As shown on the location map, the subject parcel (shaded in black/green) is located in Council Division 1, the undeveloped road allowance is located approximately 1.6 km East of Highway 2 and 6 km Southeast of the Town of High River, within an undeveloped portion of 594 Ave East and is shown by the yellow arrow.

Several general amendments are being proposed to current provisions under the Land Use Bylaw.

A full copy of the draft Land Use Bylaw amendments are available for review and/or download at www.foothillscountyab.ca, or can be emailed, mailed or faxed upon request or can be reviewed in the Municipal Office in High River during regular office hours – Monday to Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.

As shown on the location map, the subject parcel (shaded in black) is located in Council Division 4, directly north of Hwy 22/Hwy 22X, approximately 800 metres east of Priddis Valley Road W and the Hamlet of Priddis, and 6.5 kilometres west of the current municipal boundary for the City of Calgary.
