Foothills County respects the privacy of our staff and residents. Any personal information that we ask you to provide is collected in compliance with the Province of Alberta’s Access to Information Act (ATIA) or Protection of Privacy Act (POPA). We collect only what is necessary and the information is used only for the purpose it was collected, or for a use consistent with that purpose.
Personal information is defined as ‘recorded information about an identifiable individual’. Foothills County will not automatically gather any personal information from you, unless it is supplied voluntarily by contacting us directly or by registering in a secure portion of the site. Personal Information may be provided to the County by other provincial interests, such as Alberta Land Titles or Elections Alberta, for the purpose of carrying out municipal business. The County strictly adheres to all provision of ATIA and POPA, and any personal information you provide will be managed in accordance with this legislation.
When you provide any personal information, you will be informed of the purpose for which it is being collected, and your right to access this information at any time.
Please note that public input or feedback in the form of letters, emails, etc. may become a public record, such as publishing in a Council Agenda Package that is also posted on the County’s website for public viewing.

FC Connect
Foothills County uses SeeClickFix 311 CRM powered by CivicPlus, an online and mobile service request system, to power the County’s mobile app and reporting forms. This is an application that allows residents to report non-emergency related issues. SeeClickFix 311 CRM can be used on the web on a desktop computer, laptop, mobile phone, or tablet. SeeClickFix 311 CRM is a public application. The description entered will be visible to the public. Your display name will also be visible unless you choose to submit as Anonymous. Your email address will never be displayed publicly. Users registering on the mobile application also agree to CivicPlus' Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
