Due to the recent Canada Post strike, Foothills County is unable to send or receive any mail.
To view and pay your property tax roll and, where applicable, utility account, log into Virtual County Hall. Other methods to pay taxes are listed below.
Payment can be made by credit card, or by Visa or Mastercard debit. There is a surcharge for payments made by credit card. Contact the Property Tax Department for further information and to be set up for access.
If your email is on file, you can set up access yourself. To find your customer ID (begins with a 3 and contains 6 digits) look on your combined assessment and tax notice, or your water bill. It will be located near your name and address.
Click on Sign in > click on Forgot your password? > enter your 6 digit customer ID in Username and click on Submit. An email will be sent with the link to set-up your password.
Please email taxes@foothillscountyab.ca or telephone 403-652-2341 if you need assistance.
Sign up for eSend and receive your tax notices and utility invoices by email. You can find the eSend form here.
