Foothills County encompasses a diverse rural landscape in the foothills of southern Alberta. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Volunteer Firefighters across our stations.
Volunteer firefighters are responsible for supporting the fire service in a multidisciplinary capacity. This position actively supports Foothills County by serving to protect the lives, property, and environment of the County’s residents. This role provides emergency response and regularly participates in fire training and fire prevention, as assigned by the Fire Officers. Ultimately, the vision for the Foothills Fire Department is to continue providing an unparalleled quality of service to the entire Foothills County.
