Pipe D is the County’s portion of the broader regional water project. This pipeline will bring raw water from the Bow River to the County’s raw water reservoirs in Aldersyde, where it will be treated at the new water treatment plant.
Based on the current schedule, mobilization is expected to begin October 5, 2026, with waterline installation starting October 8, 2026. The main pipe installation is scheduled to be completed by January 25, 2027. There will also be some localized finishing and landscape rehabilitation work in April, with the overall project scheduled to be complete by May 3, 2027. Construction will start at the north end and move south.
