Foothills County is a vibrant and thriving municipality located south of the City of Calgary encompassing a diverse rural landscape. We are inviting applications for a Seasonal Light Equipment Operator/Grounds Maintenance position to work within the Agricultural Services Department.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Experience operating agricultural equipment such as tractors and mowing equipment.
- Knowledge of general equipment maintenance.
- Q Endorsement, an asset.
- Pesticide Applicator License or Authorized Assistant License, an asset.
- Level 3 Chainsaw Feller Ticket, an asset.
- Good communication and written skills.
Note: A current driver’s abstract will be a requirement for this position and must meet the standards outlined in our policy.
