Foothills County is Seeking Feedback on Film and Media Production Activities
ABOUT THE PROJECT – FILM AND MEDIA REVIEW IN FOOTHILLS COUNTY
Foothills County is reviewing film and media production activities within the County to better understand their impacts on residents, landowners, and the community, and to support the development of a clear and balanced film and media policy framework.
Film and media productions can bring economic and cultural benefits to the region and are often completed with little to no disruption. At times, they may be noticeable to nearby residents, landowners, and communities. Foothills County is seeking feedback to understand what is working well, where there may be opportunities for improvement, and how film and media activities can be coordinated effectively in the future.
SHARE YOUR PERSPECTIVE – YOUR FEEDBACK IS IMPORTANT
Residents and landowners are invited to complete an online survey by July 31, 2026. The information gathered through the survey will help inform the development of future policies, procedures, or other approaches related to film and media production within the County.
Whether you have had direct experience with film and media production activities, have
experienced impacts from filming, or simply wish to share your perspective on how these activities should be coordinated in the future, we encourage you to participate.
